The vineyard "Hausweingärten" is located in the neighbouring commune Loidesthal. The soil consists of a solid layer of Chernozem (black earth) bedded on loamy silt. Both the nearby March (river) and the continental climate have an influence on the wines that thrive there.

Cuvée of Zweigelt and Rösler. Harvested by hand and destemmed. Fermented at 22 °C (72 °F) and punched by hand. After Malo-lactic fermentation and maturation in barrique-barrel for 14 months it is now ready for to be drunken.

wine description
The name says it all: The intense dark purple color and the aroma of blackberries and sour cherries, supported by a delicate hint of vanilla, as well as a full-bodied taste and a delicate and subtle tart finish, require with each sip for another.

drinking temperature: 12 – 13 °C (53 - 56 °F)

Goes well with game, ducks and geese, as well as cheese.
