information about the vineyard site
The vineyard "Straßbergen" is situated in Spannberg. The soil consists of medium humus loamy silt which, over centuries, has been formed from calcareous loess. Both the nearby March(river) and the Matzner Wald(forest), as well as the continental climate, have influence on the wines that thrive there.
