15.06.2024 - Silver for our Goldburger in the price-performance tasting - dry white wine
The wine awards “Austria's best price/performance wines under 15 EUR” took place for the sixth time this year. On three tasting dates, gold and silver medals were awarded to the best by an expert jury (two-stage blind tasting) led by Michael Thurner (wine expert/consultant) & Hans Pleininger (wine journalist). Our Goldburger Hausweingärten 2023 was able to achieve the Silver Medal.
23.05.2024 - Maximilian is the 200th baby in LK Mistelbach Gänserndorf 2024
MISTELBACH – Maximilian is the 200th baby born this year at the Mistelbach-Gänserndorf State Hospital.
Maximilian is an impressive 50 centimeters tall, weighs 3,013 grams and was born on May 20, 2024 at 12:10 p.m. in the maternity ward of the state hospital. The hospital staff warmly congratulates the proud parents. Modern delivery rooms as well as special family rooms, healthy snacks for breastfeeding mothers and, of course, breastfeeding advice are available to expectant parents in the family center of the Mistelbach-Gänserndorf State Hospital. The first few days are particularly important for the new family. Fathers can also stay with their families in the special family rooms. To get to know the department better, delivery room tours take place every second Wednesday of the month; the dates can be found on the homepage of the Mistelbach-Gänserndorf State Hospital at www.mistelbach.lknoe.at.
The proud parents Michael Wiesinger and Melanie Wiesinger-Goerth with Maximilian (center) were congratulated by Ass. Dr. Jasmin Cechova, senior midwife Nicol Ofner, Prim. Dr. Attila Amrein and midwife Andrea Neubauer-Fally (v.l.).

At this year's Meditrina - a purely women's tasting in the Czech Republic - our Welschriesling Hochleiten 2021 and our Dunkles Verlangen 2015 achieved silver medals!

The government has cancelled the measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, so tastings at the winery can take place, again.

23.11.2020 - Delivery option Vienna-Tour
We won't let you go through these difficult times without a glass of good Wiesinger-wine. We introduce the Vienna-Tour delivery option. In Vienna and the district of Gänserndorf we deliver free of charge for orders of at least € 50 or more. Simply select the delivery method Vienna-Tour in the ordering process. We will then contact you when the next tour is due. Please provide the phone number!
01.08.2020 - Cutting of grapevine tops
Cutting off the tops of grapevines is done by hand at Weingut Wiesinger. This reduces the need of a tractor in the vineyard up to two to four times, so we can reduce CO2 and floor pressure. - Good for the climate, good for the environment!
20.06.2020 - Schüttblech @ Weingut Wiesinger
Since no concerts can take place due to the Corona crisis, the brass band "Schüttblech" used the time for a rehearsal at Weingut Wiesinger.
06.05.2020 - Protection from game browsing
If you find these orange sacks at the ends of our vineyards, there is no need to freak out. These sacks are filled with sheep wool and dog hair. It is to deter game, which can cause serious harm to the vines, especially in these times.
28.04.2020 - New fruit trees
A few of our fruit trees didn't seem vigorous any more, so we decided to plant a few new. So the basis for more delicious distillates is done!

To get through these difficult times even more safely, we are now offering card payments again. You can pay with
at Weingut Wiesinger or at home (if Vienna-Tour is choosen as delivery mehtod). When ordering, please indicate that you want to pay by card!
